volume_up You rang. How can I help you, friend?

It’s our community space, and you’re always welcome in! You can use the controls in the top corner to change the time of day, set a timer, display a quote, and play music. Whatever helps you feel at home.
We have nothing if not things to do. I’d recommend checking out our educational content. Everything is free, and you can find it on the Learn page. We’re constantly growing and updating our library. Would like specific suggestions?
Which of these sounds most like you?
Well, welcome to adulthood! Were I in your shoes I’d start with the Career Readiness content, as it’ll be a big part of your adult life. Also please take a look at the Financial Literacy and Health & Wellness sections. The best time to start prioritizing your health and finances was yesterday. The second best time is now. Finally, you might peek at Media Literacy (to prepare yourself for a world full of information) or at Citizenship (to start learning about all those documents you’ll be using here soon).
Welcome to America; we’re happy to have you! You can check out our Citizenship and Law & Justice libraries to start familiarizing yourself with American civics. Definitely lay eyes on Political Literacy at some point as well. Oh! I’d be remiss not to mention the Welfare & Government Support page. I hope your time here is all you dream it to be and more.
There're a number of ways to go about that, namely through your career , finances , and education . Those will form the foundation of whatever your future ends up being. We’ve also got an Entrepreneurship category if you’re interested in starting a small business. Best of luck in your pursuit!
Those are always fun...or at least interesting. It’s easy to feel lost in these times, but I encourage you not to lose yourself in the fuss. Check out our Health & Wellness section. Now I won’t pry, but whatever your transition is, it may help to have a hold on financial and career fundamentals. As far as specific transitions go, we have info on education , insurance , housing , and parenting . Perhaps one of those might help.
Let's see what I can do. First, let me point out there are people and systems in place to help you. Please lean on them if you need to. Our Welfare & Government Support and Transportation libraries may be a good starting point, not to mention Relationships . As always, the career and finance collections are staples for getting your ducks in a row. And I’ll throw out Health & Wellness as a final suggestion. Take care of yourself.
They say goals should be S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound). Start there, in really defining it. If it’s something huge, chunk it out. Having immediate next steps will make any goal feel less daunting. Starting out, is it something you can dedicate 10-30 minutes to everyday? Try that for a bit then ramp up. Whatever it is, I wish you luck. Remember that "failing" at a goal—even a simple one—is not the end of the world or something to be embarrassed by. Come your deadline, you’ll be just as worthy and valuable as you are now, regardless of whether you meet this goal.
If you need emergency services (like the police or an ambulance), dial them now: call 9-1-1. If you are experiencing suicidal ideation and need to talk to someone, dial the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 9-8-8. Otherwise, just take a moment to breathe. Let me tell you that you’re going to be alright—if not soon, then eventually. You’ve gotten through everything in life up to this point, and you’ll get through this too. Sit here for a bit, turn on the music if you’d like, and steady yourself. Whatever it is your feeling or need to say, I recommend writing it down. That’s always helped me process overwhelm.
